Home
The assign
extension allows you to create a single document that contains assignment directions, solutions, and rubric information while different output documents can omit and retain this information.
Installing
You can install the extension by typing into Terminal:
quarto add coatless-quarto/assign
This will install the extension under the _extensions
subdirectory. If you’re using version control, you will want to check in this directory.
Background
We’re able to change what is displayed in the final document by using Quarto’s Conditional Content Lua API and Project Profiles features. We’re opting to move in this direction instead of working further on the {assignr} R package for RMarkdown as it would allow for language agnostic approach and various modernizations.
